“ I'm not Indian and my taste is definitely Americanized, so a lot of these foods were very new for me! That being said, I really enjoyed my meal here! The samosas were amazing, but also it's kind of hard to mess those up. It wasn't too spicy and the sauces added a nice sweetness to it. The cheese vada pav was good. I enjoyed the bread and the potatoes, but it didn't come with any cheese. So I feel like our order was just made wrong? It was also a little too spicy for my personal taste. But probably could have been more tolerable with the cheese. The dabeli was really good too. But the onion flavor is so strong! To the point where it gives it a bit of a funk and you have to make sure to freshen your breath after. But still pretty good! The Dahi Vada was pretty interesting. It just tasted like bread and yogurt to me though :/ so probably wouldn't get that again. But if you don't like sorry bread, make sure to eat it sooner rather than later. The raj kachori was probably my favorite thing we got! It was cold which I didn't expect, but it was nice and cool and refreshing, especially when eating the spicier dishes. The pav bhaji was also really good! But didn't necessarily stand out to me. It tasted pretty similar to the dabeli. ”
“ This is such an underrated food truck in Cedar Park! It's beside a gas station. We had one of the best Raj kachoris here!! I am totally in love with Raj kachori!! Also, the masala papad is a no-miss!!!! My friend loved their special Bombay chaat and in this winter evening, masala tea added a great flavor! My friend tried Rose Lassi and it was also thick in consistency! Overall the food we had was really really good and the evening crowd was also decent which made me feel that this place has good reputation! :) The staff were polite and overall my experience was good! ”
“ They have the best pani puri you can find in Austin. The food truck is run by an Indian family and they provide great customer service. You have to check it out! ”
“ An Indian Street food truck located in the parking lot of a gas station. Their menu is more Maharashtrian, and the flavors satisfy your taste buds well. I always order the dahi puri and dabeli, a full 10/10!!!! Haven't been very pleased with a few other items I tried from their menu. ”
“ I'm always on the hunt for some good chaat especially on the days I miss Mumbai. This place definitely hit the spot and I was glad that everything I ordered turned out good. The dahi in the dahi vada was delicious, perfectly sweet and savory however I wish the vada was spongier rather than so dense. The cheese vada pav barely had any cheese and I wish the authentic pav was used, nonetheless the vada itself was perfect! Crispy and not too spicy. The bhel puri was full of flavor, crunch and different textures. It feels kind of obscene to pay these prices for street food though and wish they could offer half portions for more affordable prices maybe? Service is fast though we did go at a random time of day and there are two benches nearby to sit at. ”
“ Anuya loves their pav bhaji and we have got pickup many times from them in the past. This time I got a vada pav which left me very unsatisfied. I have some specific suggestions for improving it: 1) The pav should be toasted with butter just like the pavbhaji pav 2) put more chutney and on both buns 3) The vada looked barely cooked Look the picture that shows my improvements to it. ”
“ Appearances may be misleading. This unassuming food truck stands next to a gas station, where it serves some of the best Indian food in Austin. Its Pav Bhaji is a creamy vegetable curry that comes with hamburger buns to dip. The peas in the Pav Bhaji create tiny explosions of flavor and the rest of the curry emulsifies your mouth with a thick and rich tomato gravy texture. Definitely the highlight of our meal, 10/10. We also got Vada Pav, which was good, but not memorable. We tried their Dahi Puri, filled with the sauces they gave us and packed to the brim with flavor. The Dahi Puri was practically the perfect crispness, although I do wish there was more content in it (instead of just sauces). My only real complaint about this restaurant is that there's no meat, but the vegetable dishes more than make up for the lack of it. Definitely worth a try if you're into Indian food. ”
“ We were up north and I was craving chaat so decided to try this place on a cold and rainy day. It's a food truck in a gas station with one table outside but otherwise it seemed people just take it home. We sat in the car and ate it and here's the review of each item. 1. Vada Pav - fresh and delicious and definitely spicy 2. Sev Puri - small portion but very tasty and freshly made as well 3. Dahi Papdi Chaat - this was definitely a new take on papdi chaat for me as it was warm with Ragda (lentil) served in the bottom. Great portion size but it was insanely spicy which is why I took a star off. There should definitely be a spice indicator level or you should ask what spice level bc although I asked for more yogurt and sweet chutney, it was really hard to eat still. They give you an14% (random?) discount if you pay with cash. If I'm in the area, I'll definitely be back but this time will be sure to share spice level myself if not asked! ”
“ Yoooooooooo!!!!! This was my first time getting can't sort of chaat and I am definitely a fan!! I extensively went through the pictures here on YELP! before ordering. So shout ou to all of you for making my selection a bit easier. Bombay Street Food has quite the large menu do a food truck, if you ask me, so I was a bit intimidated from the start. However after lots of indecision I decided to try something safe, Samosa Chaat. And something spicy, Pav Bhaji. The samosa chaat was wild!!! Who doesn't love a carb overload, first of all?! Are you crazy or am I?!. Potatoes, breading, and chick pea sounds like you'd end up as big as a house if you ate like this often, but for a quick snack that is heavy enough to be a full meal by itself, this snacky was crackin!!! The samosas are chopped into healthy sized chunks and then topped with a warm smooth chickpea mixture and thn dressed with (from what I could count) two different types of chutney. One green (cilantro I believe) and one reddish (tamarind chutney I think). The green was super fresh and herbaceous. While the red was sweet and packed a little kick. Overall 10/10 would recommend!! A delicious way to serve up an already tasty treat. Th pav bhaji was on a whole different level. It was spicyyyyy, soupy, steamy, hearty and flavored to the hilt! Described as a blend of vegetables, served with buttered buns, nothing cold have prepared me for he flavor kick I was about to receive. Well butter my buns and call me a biscuit, cuz baybee this bhaji was bussin!!!! I should have known the food was gunna be unreal when I showed up and saw a gang of Indians chillin in the parking lot, not even eating, and very close to closing time. So me this signifies that this place serves as a meeting spot, a place of comfort. When folks can come and stuff themselves with yummy treats that remind them of far away places and get so full they can't leave. So instead they make a friend, or invite an old one, bring the kids and really enjoy the full experience. As blacks we call it "parking lot pimpin" but you only do this in spaces where you feel safe. Shout out to BSF for being a place that brings folks together and Fuels them up. Very adjacent to the gas pumps of the parking lot they share ”
“ Yummmm food. This is a gem. Definitely a must go place for all Indian snack / quick bite food lovers. We tried few things and each dish was yum. Dabeli, pao bhaji, sev puri, mango lassi we're great. Rose lassi was okey. Definitely a must go place ”
